1. About ShieldMe Insurance

ShieldMe Insurance Inc. is a licensed independent insurance agency based in Melbourne, Florida, serving Brevard, Indian River, and surrounding counties. We are appointed with multiple insurance carriers and offer health, Medicare, life, disability, long-term care, and annuity products.

We are compensated primarily through commissions paid by the insurance carriers whose products we place. Our consultations are provided at no cost to you.

2. Informational purpose only

The content on this website — including plan comparisons, benefit tables, premium figures, deductibles, enrollment deadlines, penalty calculations, and general explanations of how insurance products work — is provided for general informational purposes only.

Insurance products, premiums, benefits, eligibility rules, and government program figures change frequently, often annually. Content on this site may not reflect the most current plan year. Nothing on this site should be relied upon as a statement of the benefits, costs, or terms of any specific policy.

3. No professional advice

4. No offer, no contract of insurance

This website does not constitute an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy insurance in any jurisdiction where we are not licensed. Submitting a form, requesting a quote, or speaking with an agent does not create insurance coverage and does not bind any carrier.

Coverage begins only when an application has been accepted and a policy has been issued in writing by the insurance carrier, and any required initial premium has been paid. Quotes are estimates and are subject to underwriting, eligibility verification, and carrier approval. Final premiums may differ from any figure quoted.

5. Medicare disclosures

ShieldMe Insurance is not affiliated with, connected to, or endorsed by the United States government, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the Social Security Administration, or the federal Medicare program.

Enrollment in a Medicare Advantage or Part D plan is subject to eligibility requirements and to Medicare enrollment periods. Requesting information from us does not enroll you in any plan. Before we discuss specific Medicare Advantage or Part D plans with you, we will document a Scope of Appointment as required by federal rules.

6. Accuracy and availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep this site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that content is complete, current, or error-free. We may add, change, or remove content and products at any time without notice.

We do not guarantee that the site will be available without interruption, or that it will be free of errors, viruses, or other harmful components.

7. Information you submit

When you submit information through our contact form or provide it during a consultation, you represent that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to provide it. Insurance eligibility and pricing depend on the accuracy of what you tell us. Please do not transmit Social Security numbers, Medicare Beneficiary Identifiers, financial account numbers, or detailed medical records through the website contact form or by unencrypted email. Contact us by phone and we will arrange a secure method.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of this website shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Brevard County, Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Disputes concerning an insurance policy itself are governed by the terms of that policy and by applicable Florida insurance law, not by these terms. Florida policyholders may also contact the Florida Department of Financial Services Division of Consumer Services at 1–877–693–5236.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
