When you submit our contact form and check the consent box, you authorize ShieldMe Insurance to contact you at the phone number and email address you provided, including by telephone call, text message, and email, regarding the insurance products you asked about.
You understand that:

- Message and data rates may apply to text messages
- You may revoke consent at any time by replying STOP to a text, by clicking unsubscribe in an email, or by calling us at (321) 205-3149
Revoking marketing consent will not stop communications necessary to service a policy you already hold.
6. Medicare-specific disclosures
CMS required disclaimer: We do not offer every plan available in your area. Any information we provide is limited to those plans we do offer in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov or 1–800–MEDICARE to get information on all of your options.
ShieldMe Insurance is not connected with or endorsed by the United States government or the federal Medicare program. We are a licensed independent insurance agency.
If you are a Medicare beneficiary or are approaching Medicare eligibility, federal rules limit how and when we may contact you. We will contact you only within the scope of the permission you have given, and before discussing specific Medicare Advantage or Part D plans with you we will document a Scope of Appointment as required by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Requesting information does not enroll you in any plan and does not obligate you to purchase anything.
7. Health information
Some of the information you share with us in the course of shopping for health, Medicare, disability, life, or long-term care coverage relates to your health. We treat this information as confidential and use it only for the purposes described in Section 3.
We do not use health information for advertising or marketing targeting, and we do not disclose it to anyone other than the parties described in Section 4.
8. Cookies and website analytics
This website uses cookies and similar technologies. A cookie is a small text file stored on your device that helps a website function and helps the operator understand how the site is used.
We use:
- Strictly necessary cookies, which allow the site to load correctly, keep pages secure, and enable the contact form to work. The site cannot function properly without these.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of this site work.
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to these signals, and this website does not currently respond to them.
9. Third-party links and services
This website contains links to third-party resources, including Medicare.gov, the Genworth cost-of-care calculator, and carrier quoting tools. It also embeds a Google Maps frame showing our office location, which may allow Google to collect information about your visit under Google’s own privacy policy.
We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. When you leave our site, we encourage you to read the privacy policy of the site you are visiting.
10. How we protect your information
We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards intended to protect your information, including encrypted transmission of data submitted through this website, access controls limiting who within our agency can view client files, and secure disposal of records we no longer need.
No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send Social Security numbers, Medicare numbers, financial account numbers, or detailed medical information through our website contact form or by unencrypted email. Call us at (321) 205-3149 and we will arrange a secure way to collect anything sensitive.
11. How long we keep your information
We keep client and applicant records for as long as necessary to service your policies and to satisfy the record retention obligations imposed by insurance carriers, the State of Florida, and federal law. Retention periods for insurance records commonly extend for several years after a policy ends. If you inquired but never became a client, we retain your inquiry for a shorter period and then delete it.
12. Your choices and rights
You may at any time:
- Ask what we hold. Request a summary of the personal information we maintain about you.
- Correct it. Ask us to fix information that is inaccurate or out of date.
- Ask us to delete it. We will honor deletion requests except where we are required to retain records by law, by a carrier, or by a regulator.
- Opt out of marketing. Unsubscribe from emails, reply STOP to texts, or ask to be added to our internal do-not-call list.
To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 15. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request involving sensitive information.
Residents of states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws may have additional rights. We will honor applicable rights granted to you under the law of your state of residence.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it. Information about minor dependents provided by a parent or guardian in the course of applying for family coverage is handled under the same protections described in this policy.
